FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualified Team: Canada
Football The last and only time Canada qualified for the World Cup was in 1986 where they did not make it out of the group stage. Canada’s best player at Qatar 2022 will be Alphonso Davies who is so talented he can play in a variety of positions from left back to forward. He has won everything he can as a Bayern Munich player.

Jonathan David will be hoping to add to his 21 goals in 32 starts when he starts as striker for Canada at the World Cup. Jonathan Osario has spent his entire career at Toronto FC and will be hoping to continue his good form at the World Cup that saw him end the season with 17 goals.
We're hoping to see Canada go far in their second ever appearance on this grand world stage.

Niagara Falls is a series of three jaw dropping waterfalls situated on the border of Canada’s Ontario and the United States’ New York. The Ontario side of the Falls is called Horseshoe Falls and has the best views and most attractions. The surrounding area offers observation towers, restaurants, souvenir shops, casinos and high-rise hotels.

One of the best places to view the Niagara Falls on the Ontario side is from Queen Victoria Park where the Falls are illuminated and fireworks are displayed nightly during the summer. Also, you can see the Niagara Falls with helicopter tours and jet boat tours. There is also an observation deck next to Skylon Tower with elevators that take you down behind the falls. Fun fact: Niagara Falls was most famously used as a backdrop for a scene in Superman.
Churchill, Manitoba has a population of just 1000 but huge crowds come every year to see its most famous inhabitants, the polar bears. The best time to see polar bears in Churchill is October and November when the bears migrate to the shores hunting for marine food. The bears can be seen from the safety of tour vehicles called tundra buggies. In the summer there are boat tours for viewing beluga whales which migrate here by the thousands. You can even put on a wetsuit and swim with the whales. Churchill is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 270 kinds of birds including snowy owls, gyrfalcons, stilt sandpipers and tundra swans. Churchill is the perfect spot to see the aurora borealis, or northern lights normally between January and March.
The Whistler Resort is the largest and most famous downhill ski resort in North America. Located in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia it is a two-hour scenic drive from Vancouver on, the Sea-to-Sky Highway. At the base of the two mountains are three villages, Whistler Village, Creekside and Upper Village. The Peak 2 Peak gondola takes visitors from the villages to the mountains.
Whistler has many world-class ski resorts and offers awe inspiring views from its mountain slopes that draws many adventurers every year. If you are not into Winter sports there is plenty of hiking and rock climbing to be enjoyed on the mountains.
Quebec City located in the eastern province of Quebec has French heritage, architecture and language, and seems like a European city. Quebec City is the only city in North America which has its original walls. Vieux Quebec, or Old Quebec, is a UNESCO site set on a hill, overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

Go and explore old buildings like the Citadel or the Place-Royale where explorer Samuel de Camplain found the first North American-French settlement. You can also enjoy the many Cafes, shops and bars around the area.
The Chateau Frontenac is considered the most photographed hotel in North America and offers tours even without an overnight stay.

Another stunning hotel is the Ice Hotel. Open from January to April, this hotel has rooms with beautiful ice sculptures insert photo.
Outside the city there are beautiful and historic parks like Montgomery Falls and Plains of Abraham that have gorgeous waterfalls and outdoor recreation to enjoy.

Poutine was invented in Quebec and consists of French fries covered with fresh cheese curds, topped with thick brown gravy. You can buy this delicious dish from food stalls or even fast food restaurants.
Tourtiere is a meat pie made with bread dough stuffed with meat and was born at the time of the French colonization of Quebec, It was served during important celebrations. Today it can be eaten in many other cities in Canada any time of the year.
Peameal bacon was created in Toronto by a company called William Davies Back bacon is rolled in corn flour and cooked to produce a crispy outside. Peameal bacon can be enjoyed not just in restaurants but fast food establishments.
Trempettes are one of the most popular desserts in Canada.. These thick pancakes may be topped with butter or cream and completely covered with the national maple syrup
Nanaimo bars were born in Nanaimo, British Columbia. It consists of a crumbled cookie or waffle base, topped with a layer of custard and a top layer of milk chocolate.
